It’s Police Beat!!!!!
6:52 a.m. Caller from the 100 block of Bordeaux St. advised he needed to talk to an officer reference a burglary. Sometime during the night someone broke into the soap dispenser.
1:06 p.m. Caller from the 800 block of Bordeaux St. advised he received a call from his wife advising of a man in their backyard taking pictures of his dog. Caller stated the guy was in his mid 30’s to early 40’s, Latino and had a mustache.
9:00 a.m. Subject came into PD and advised she has been calling in about a German Shepherd puppy that is constantly tied up outside on the 400 block of Morehead. Caller requesting to talk to an officer about it.
10:24 p.m. Caller from the 400 block of Morehead St. advised he had returned from Rapid City approximately 10 minutes agao and his German Shepherd puppy was missing from the above location. He advised that he knew it had been taken and by whom.
3:10 p.m. Caller from the 400 block of Norfolk Ave. advised that her daughter’s coat was stolen from the above location. Caller demanded an officer A.S.A.P. because she wants it on record so when she sees the kid wearing it she can rip it off of them.
1:33 a.m. Caller from Royal Court advised there’s a brand new Jeep Cherokee that has been parked by his apartment for about a month now. Caller requesting an officer check it out because you would think that if someone owns that type of vehicle they would want to drive it instead of just leaving it parked.
9:18 p.m. Caller from Chadron requested to speak with an officer because he said the staff illegally searched his room and took a can of soda pop for one thing. Officers talked to a nurse and she advised she went into the room to pick up his dinner tray. She advised there was a Mountain Dew bottle in a dresser drawer that was open. She advised that the caller has doctor’s orders that states no Mountain Dew after 5 p.m. She advised she took the bottle. Officers advised caller it was not an illegal search and advised him it was in plain view and taken for his own good.
6:23 p.m. Caller from the 300 block of West Second St. requested to talk to an officer about some items being stolen from the above location. Caller stated that a woman had taken two beers from his house.
8:47 a.m. Caller from Third and Main St. advised that she would like to complain about the driving of a man. Caller stated that he is 100 something years old and that about a week ago he cut her off at the stop light.
1:09 p.m. Caller from the 300 block of West Third St. advised that she wanted to report a woman who has bought 40 30-packs of beer within the last three to four days.
