As far as Mondays go, I really can’t complain. My son woke up in a cheerful mood and was incredibly patient as I got us both ready and out the door this morning. Never mind that my computer crashed this morning after I synced up my Nano. Never mind that I lost my wedding ring (it’s somewhere in the house). Never mind that it’s that time of the month (only a week late so I’d given up on it). Never mind that I forgot my son’s antibiotics and had to go back home to get it for daycare.
With all that going on, I was still relatively on time for work. And work, for a Monday, hasn’t been that bad. Sure, the new feature that allows us to upload video to our site wasn’t fully explained to us. I did get the bank accounts reconciled in record time. I performed a data pull quicker than anticipated. I even made some progress on the pre-audit paperwork. Of course, it was learned that there may be a huge problem with the data behind a heavily marketed website we just re-launched.
The 990 EZ form for the PAC (political fund) is ready to be re-typed and sent to the IRS, which leaves me with only the 990 for the (c)(4) side of our organization. Thankfully, the (c)(3) is being audited and the auditors will be completing that 990 on our behalf.
And now, it’s time to drive home. Hopefully, both my husband and son are in good moods because I really am–and it would be nice to actually enjoy each other tonight.
